Supervisor Reviews
The Supervisor Review Queue for reviewing, approving, rejecting, and flagging completed interviews
The Supervisor Review Queue is where field supervisors examine completed interviews before they are included in the final dataset. Supervisors can approve responses, reject them with a reason, flag individual questions for attention, and review the full audit timeline of each submission.
When to Use It
- When completed interviews are waiting for approval before being finalized
- When you need to flag specific questions in a response for follow-up
- When you want to check what happened during an interview (audit timeline)
- When an enumerator needs to correct and resubmit a rejected response

The Full Review Screen
The review screen shows the response with these sections:

- Review Actions — Approve and Reject buttons (shown while the response is pending)
- Answers tab — every question and its answer. While the response is pending:
- Tick the checkbox next to a question to flag it
- Add an optional note explaining what needs attention
- Click Save Review Flags to save your flags and notes
- Audit Timeline tab — the chronological record of events for this interview (see Audit Logging)
Flagged Questions
Flagging a question highlights it in the review list and records your note. Flags are useful for:
- Marking answers that look incorrect or suspicious
- Pointing an enumerator to specific questions that need clarification
- Tracking which parts of a response were questioned during review
Correcting a Rejected Response (Enumerators)
If you submitted a response that was rejected with flagged questions, you can fix it yourself:
- Open the rejected response from the review screen
- The Request Correction card shows how many questions were flagged
- Click Correct and Resubmit
- Update the flagged answers and resubmit the response for approval
Tips & Notes
- Check the queue daily during active data collection so field teams get quick feedback
- Always enter a clear rejection reason — the enumerator sees it and needs it to fix the response
- Use question flags for partial issues: approve an otherwise good response but flag the specific answers that need follow-up
- Use the Audit Timeline tab when you need to verify what happened during the interview
- Approving or rejecting is recorded with your identity and timestamp for compliance
