## 2. Signing In & Multi-Tenant Access {#2-signing-in--multi-tenant-access}

MQUAD supports **multi-tenant iteration**. If your organization conducts surveys across multiple projects or clients, you do not need to log out and switch accounts—all assigned forms from all authorized tenants are loaded simultaneously.

### Login Steps {#login-steps}

1. Open **MQUAD** on your device.
2. Enter your organizational **Email Address** and **Password**.
3. Tap **Sign In**.
4. The application contacts the MQUAD Platform Gateway, authenticates your profile, fetches your tenant authorizations, and downloads your active survey assignments.
5. An initial synchronization runs in the background to ensure you have the latest survey definitions and forms before heading into the field.

> **Offline Sign-In**: Once authenticated online, MQUAD provisions a secure local offline lease (valid for up to 45 days). You can open and use the application in the field without an internet connection.

## 3. Biometric Security & Device Protection {#3-biometric-security--device-protection}

To protect sensitive interview data gathered during fieldwork, MQUAD includes enterprise-grade device security features:

- **Biometric Unlock**: You can enable fingerprint or facial recognition (**Settings → Security → Biometric Unlock**). When enabled, resuming the app requires biometric verification or device PIN.
- **Inactivity Timeout**: If the application remains idle in the background for longer than the configured policy (typically 15 minutes), the session automatically locks.
- **Screenshot Prevention**: The application automatically blocks screenshots and screen recording on mobile devices to prevent accidental leaks of sensitive respondent answers.
